Swedish Girls is an artist duo consisting of Mira Bergh (b. 1993) and Josefin Zachrisson (b. 1994), based between Stockholm and Milan. The idea of a collective practice came in the absence of context after graduating Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm 2019. Since then, they’ve developed a practice across art, design and architecture. Rooted in a design methodology, their work involves installation, objects, performance, and spatial environments. Swedish Girls has been represented in public spaces and institutions including ArkDes (2022), Mayrit Bienal (2022), Kunsthal Aarhus (2023) and Alcova (2021-2015).
